In order to provide and promote transparency and accountability in the working of the Organization, as mandated under the Right to information Act. 2005, the GOAF has put in place a system for people to access information under the control of this Organization.

Any person desiring to obtain any information pertaining to this Organization under the Right to Information Act, 2005, can make a request either in writing or through electronic means in English or Hindi, duly accompanied by the requisite fee, to any of the officers listed above.

An applicant making request for the information shall not be required to give any reason for requesting the said information or provide any other personal detail except those that may be necessary for contacting him.

The Public Information Officer, on receipt of a request for information, shall provide the information within 30 days of receipt of the request or reject the same by way of a speaking order. The person desiring to have any information will be required to pay the requisite amount of fee. Appeal against rejection of the request by the Public Information Officer will fall with the Chief Controller of Factories for which an application as required under the said Act is to be made.
